WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
Our bodies adapt to the way we move, sit, and live—often leading to muscle imbalances that affect posture, flexibility, and overall mobility. Align & Strengthen is a four-part series designed to identify and correct muscle imbalances through intentional movement, helping you regain functional strength and ease in your daily activities. Each session focuses on a different area of imbalance, using a combination of yoga poses, mobility exercises, and myofascial release techniques to stretch overactive muscles and strengthen weak ones.
This series is beginner-friendly and open to all ages—whether you're new to yoga or looking to improve movement patterns for longevity, this is for you.
WORKSHOP LINEUP:
PART 1: ANTERIOR PELVIC TILT
If you spend long hours sitting or standing with your lower back arched, you may have an anterior pelvic tilt—a common posture imbalance where the pelvis tilts forward, causing lower back pain, tight hip flexors, and weak glutes.
This session will help you understand how pelvic alignment affects movement, especially in yoga, and guide you through targeted exercises to release tight muscles and activate weak ones for better posture and mobility.

PART 2: POSTERIOR PELVIC TILT
A posterior pelvic tilt happens when the pelvis tucks under, often due to prolonged sitting, weak lower back muscles, and tight hamstrings. This can lead to stiffness, lower back discomfort, and limited hip mobility.
In this session, we’ll explore how posterior tilt affects movement and yoga poses, using a mix of stretching, mobility work, and strengthening exercises to restore balance and improve overall posture.

Neck and shoulder tension are some of the most common movement restrictions, often caused by poor posture, stress, and repeated activities like desk work or heavy lifting.
This class focuses on releasing tightness, improving mobility, and strengthening key muscles to support better posture and pain-free movement. Expect a mix of yoga poses, myofascial release, and mindful movement to help you move with greater ease.

PART 4: MYOFASCIAL RELEASE FOR HIPS & SPINE

This session will focus on myofascial release techniques to relieve tightness and restore movement in the hips and spine, allowing for greater freedom and ease in both yoga and daily life.
